jeffrox, kyle, and i saw HARRY POTTER ORDER OF THE PHOENIX two weeks early.

thanks to myspace, hahahah.

seriously though, the movie is in its own realm. it diverges from the book way too many times and doesn’t pay enough homage to the true emotions that are involved in the story.

nevertheless, it was harry potter, and it was sick as hell.

for the past week i have been trying to figure out a certain kweli, blackstar or mos song…. i like it because it specifically reminds me of the new york vacation, even more than “respiration.” STUPID ME, i figured out that its “brooklyn” by mos, and the part that i like is only during the last minute of the song. no wonder why i couldn’t find it.

i bought stride gum cause i fell into the hype of “the flavor lasts really long.” i think they’re just saying that so people will buy it, cause the flavor lasted just as long as my orbitz. i’ll stick to orbitz. i will give stride one thing, their packaging is pretty sick. unlike trident or orbitz the sticks of gum will not fall out when you only have a few pieces left. stride gave their pieces individual flaps and the top flap stays closed because the niche used to hold the flap is larger than normal gum packages. YEP, i notice that crap…

a blog dedicated to clothes.

i have no idea how i plan to transport my sac closet to milpitas. its ridiculous that i probably really only wear 25% of what is in it. i’m not trying to be wasteful, and i don’t want to generalize women, but damn, thats just how it is…

plus, i told myself i don’t want to get rid of anything that has the potential to be considered “vintage” for my future babies. its hard and i will eventually just become a pack-rat.

i owe jeff the following apology:
at the grad party we played “hot seat” [a game which tests couple's knowledge on eachother] and the question was: “if you gave your significant $10 what would they spend it on?” the question was based on the women, i answered “food” he put “used clothes.” turns out he was right and knew me better than i know myself. if he gave me $10 i would go thrifting. SO ON BLAST AND FOR EVERYONE TO READ: JEFF TANHUECO KNOWS KATE REYES BETTER THAN KATE REYES. there, i said it.

at first i honestly did not believe into the hype that is victoria’s secret, but after a few highly affordable semi-annual sales, i have changed my opinion completely. the underwear they produce is on another level, i’m not even talking about the “sexy” aspect of the line. i’m talking about function and comfort. their product is pricey, but i will pay for it, when i can that is.

on the fourth of july i’m going to be screaming at the movie screen. i have no real interest in transformers other than the fact that josh duhamel is in it. yes, i am going for the eye candy.

i forgot to say this: “so you think you can dance” is the best reality competition ever. i wish i started dancing when i was 4, then i’d be able to bend like rubber and stop on a dime. i’d get flexibility and gracefulness instead of a clumsy mess.

i thought i’d blog more… i thought i’d do a lot more things… well, basically i am running around between sacramento and the bay area more than ever, and its taking up my time, other than that… i’m just giving myself the opportunity to be L A Z Y. its nice.

after thinking about it for a while i have come up this revelation: i did not know how to dress myself or apply make-up before i turned 21.

i admit it, i had no style and it took a long time for me to figure out how to throw on eyeshadow and realize that blush is the best makeup product ever created.

on a positive and superficial note:

i scooped up some black keds online (kelly kapowski status) and i love them.

not sure if i will run back to chuck taylors ever again.

another question: why is it that people ALWAYS have a tendency to remember the negative aspects of anything… any negative situation people will remember why it is significant, but the opposite–the positive, its always just brushed away like its nothing.

people need to be more optimistic with their lives and with their viewpoints, not just for themselves but also how they perceive others.

i know, sometimes i need to listen to my own advice, but generally speaking… why do humans like to remember the bad?

i am pretty sure that people can accomplish the greatest things in life and there will still be those few that have to judge them.

finish college… what next?
been in a relationship for six years… now what?

when do people just accept you for who you are and what you are doing with your life?

i have no idea.
