I CAN BAKE.

Yeah, it comes as a major surprise to myself, but I made some crazy chocolate chip cookies on Xmas eve. If I say so myself they are the best tasting homemade-scratch cookies I’ve ever eaten.

No… I’m not saying that because I made them, in prior attempts I really suck at baking, but because of an image I found on Flickr, I decided to take these on and try out the recipe, its Martha’s (Stewart).

I’ll pass ‘em around sooner or later, I’ll make a few batches for the New Year.

Damn.

According to Pink is the new blog my second man has gotten engaged.

Hah, ok, I feel bad about my statement about practical gifts, cause I got a lot this christmas and I’m really thankful for all of them, and I’m glad I got them. Ahem, Vince…. Haha.

SO… My new statement is……… I don’t like practical gifts that do not offer any aesthetic value or any ability of great use.

Even though a powerbook battery would come in super handy, I would hate to open one up and plainly say “Ooooh gee thanks. Yeah I needed this thing………………..”

Basically I would not appreciate anything like lotion, soap, batteries, etc for christmas. A new straightening or curling iron would be completely different, cause that helps with aesthetics (see aesthetics could mean mine or the object itself, its a wide range). And food is completely practical but I LOVE FOOD, so that works too….

I should’ve thought about what I was saying in my prior statement, my apologies and my thanks to those of you who gave with practicality in mind this year! =)

My powerbook battery is shot to hell. If its not plugged in I don’t have any battery life. I neeeeeds me a battery.

I would start planning the wedding and looking for “the dress” by now. We need to get our “save the dates” by this summer. I have time next week.

Paul was up and we went to Levende last night, I might just declare it my replacement of Sofa Lounge, it was so packed we had to leave by 12:30am. Its a real nice spot, the hip hop is wonderful, plus the people are completely respectful. Its definitely a grown ass place.

If you don’t wear condoms and aren’t on some form of contraceptive, babies are gonna fkin happen, thats just plain nature. Its not like its fkin fairytale land and an unexpected stork drops off a kid on your step.

Anyways, I wish them the best of luck and that that baby doesn’t have the same fate of Britney’s offspring.

I’m no Paul Abadilla or anything but my sketch skills have gone to hell. I was getting so good at drawing accurate thumbnail sketches towards the end of school. WTF.
