PMS IS NOT A MYTH FOLKS! ITS REAL AS HELL!

I am so freaked out.

My experience in the work world is pretty much minimal, and this May will officially mark two years out of school. My growth is such a joke compared to the exponential leap that the man has taken.

Everyone says: “you’ll be ok, cause you’re talented.” I believe I am talented, not everyone has the visual understanding for type and negative space. BUT HONESTLY, I don’t think people will give me any opportunities just based on the work they see, college work for that matter.

I. AM. FUCKING. SCARED.

How am I supposed to compete? What am I supposed to put on my resume when there is such a large chunk of design work missing “Recession: January ‘09 to Present”

I don’t even know what to say, other than that I am shit out of luck, scared for my career, and am living on some hope that someone will see my talent, drive, and be willing to help me grow…
